Ground (2016)

With a cast of ten dancers performing contact improvisation, Ground is the third in a series of video dances created by collaborators Jordan Fuchs and Melissa Sanderson that utilizes disorientation as a strategy for making the embodied experience of dancing accessible through video. Juxtapositions of foreground and background create engaging mysteries and incongruities in which the impossible becomes possible.
